Did you know there are over 50 parks in Riverside? My family is on a mission to visit all of them, and then share all the info with you!
Here is a list of all the parks in Riverside that we’ll be visiting. As I share info about each park, I’ll link to it below. Stay tuned!

County/State Parks in the Riverside Area
Hidden Valley Nature Center - this is a county park between Riverside and Norco. There is a little nature center that’s open on Saturday, with nature trails and bike paths. Parking is $5 per car, paid with cash on the honor system.
Rancho Jurupa Regional Park - this county park features campsites, a huge splash pad, playgrounds, mini golf, and more. There is a per-person charge to get into the park, paid at the staffed entrance gate.
Citrus State Historic Park - this state park features a small citrus museum, along with orange groves to walk through and lots of open space to run around on the grass. There is a $7ish parking fee that is heavily enforced - make sure you go to the machine and pay when you arrive.
Lake Perris State Recreation Area - this state park features a huge lake (water reservoir), camping, and playgrounds. Be sure if your children are on a boat or kayak that they wear life jackets!!
Other Parks Near Riverside:
This is not a comprehensive list, but here are a few nearby parks that my family has visited that you might enjoy:
